The Klebelsberg Library of the University of Szeged will continue its operation under a new name from 1 June 2025. According to the resolution SZ-8/2025.04.28./4. by the Senate of the University of Szeged, the University Archives will be integrated into the organisation of the SZTE Klebelsberg Library. The new name of the integrated institution will thus be

The aim of the restructuring is to ensure that the collections of the library and the archives operate within a unified organisational structure, and to make better use of the potential of cooperation and joint development. The unified framework will contribute to the coordinated performance of library and archival services, to the optimal use of existing professional capacities, and to the unified preservation and representation of the university’s historical heritage.
