First-year students enrolling now at the University of Szeged can initiate their library membership by submitting the “Membership declaration for university students” form available in Modulo. A guide for submitting the form is available here.
It takes about half an hour for the data to be transferred from Neptun to the library’s system. After that, library membership and a library card can be requested in person at the Circulation Desk. Required documents: ID card or Passport.
For SZTE students, library use is free of charge. The permanent student ID will also serve as the library card. Until it is issued, services (borrowing, Wi-Fi, computers, etc.) can be used immediately with a temporary or virtual library card.
The temporary library card is only valid without a photo on the day it was issued. For further use and validity, students must bring and present an ID photo, which will then be attached to the card by the library staff at the Circulation Desk.
The “Membership declaration for university students” form can be completed at any time during the academic year.
