Scite is an artificial intelligence-based, GPT-type tool that, unlike traditional models, does not provide answers to natural language questions supported by false references, but rather provides a list of real references based on peer-reviewed scientific publications.
Its new-generation search engine helps users navigate the literature and find references. Uniquely, it also evaluates the quality of references, indicating whether they are supportive, contradictory, or merely neutral. Its citation verification module helps users check for retracted/modified literature.
